Jupiter In Pisces: A Time Of Hope, Compassion, Spiritual Growth, and Disillusionment

Jupiter has entered one of its home signs of Pisces in late December after a brief appearance there from mid-May until late July of 2021. It is moving quick through this sign in the early half of 2022 as it will even make it to Aries on May 10/11 before retrograding back into Pisces on October 28th where it will stay until December 20th. 

This is very liberating for Jupiter because in the last two years Jupiter has been in Saturn ruled signs (Capricorn and Aquarius) with Saturn also present there. This had restricted the freedom oriented Jupiter as a strongly positioned Saturn was in charge of any planets in its signs. Now with Jupiter in one of its own signs it gets to express itself in a way that it wants to without the inhibiting circumstances of the previous two years.

During these crazy and intense times we are in currently (reflected by other planetary conditions/placements/cycles), Jupiter in Pisces brings themes of hope, faith, transcendence, and optimism. Jupiter is an expansive planet which can influence our spirituality, dreams, ideals, imagination, inspiration, creativity, consciousness, psychic abilities, and our relationship with the divine. 

Amidst all of the division in the world right now, Jupiter in Pisces can influence our collective compassion, selflessness, and sense of oneness especially considering that Neptune is also present there which is a Piscean type of planet with similar qualities. Some of this has been recently reflected by the way people around the world have stepped up to help Ukrainians. 

It has also been reflected in the recent Freedom Convoy Protest in Canada which brought together a diverse group of people uniting for the same cause. Many of the participants made tremendous sacrifices for something bigger than them which gave many Canadians (and people around the world) hope.  

Pisces along with Neptune are also associated with escapism, intoxication, delusion, disillusionment, confusion, and anxiety and these are also things that can increase during this period, so be aware of that. They are also the astrological representatives of gasoline and oil in which we have seen increasing prices due to the expansive nature of Jupiter being there. This can also be reflected by widespread inflation affecting many different markets considering other current astrological factors combined with an unrestrained Jupiter. Pisces and Neptune are also associated with water, especially when it comes to large bodies such as oceans or lakes. Therefore this might also manifest as issues pertaining to that, such as floods, rising water levels, and other circumstances of a similar nature. 

For many people this energy has the potential to be a relief after what we have experienced in the previous two years. Make the most of it. Although Jupiter will leave Pisces for Aries from May 10/11th until October 28th, it will still have ‘one foot’ in Pisces during that period as it will be returning there. We are still in a wild and tense period regardless but this energy can be very helpful.
